Yorkville homes for sale are the highest of the high end. Yonge and Bloor has become “the address” for some time. With 1 Bloor and “The One” being pinnacles in the area. As well the new Four Season Hotel and Residences with it’s spectacular penthouse that sold at one point for over 21 million dollars. Many of the who’s who of Toronto have a residence in Yorkville and at the Four Seasons.

Proximity to many of the top eateries in Toronto, to the highest of the high end shops (think Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton and the like). As well it border the University of Toronto Campus as well at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) and is close proximity to the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) and transportation hubs having two TTC shops in the neighbourhood.

Yorkville Homes for sale and condos are often in the higher end of the majority of real estate in Toronto. Condo have sold for upwards of $2000 per square foot (PSF). Rarely do you see anything under $1000 PSF in the area. There are many new builds happening and the area is undergoing a regeneration of sorts, with several older buildings being replace or reinvented for the cliental that want to live and work there. There are many boutiques condos and townhouses in the area – may with well known owners and celebrities in residence.

Yorkville Homes for sale boundaries are roughly Bloor Street to the south – though some developers on the south side want to be or market as being part of the neighbourhood – Davenport Road to the north as it borders the Summerhill and Rosedale areas.

There are many shopping areas within the Yorkville boundaries as well as innumerable restaurants and many world renewed physicians for all your health and beauty needs. As well there are many high end art galleries scattered about the area. Though many of the interior streets are narrow and one-way, it is not unusual to see very unique and high end autos parked on the curbs in the area. It is one of the see and be seen neighbourhoods in Toronto. The TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) does bring out celebrities and movie stars to the area as well.
