Transit is readily available in this area with the main subway and some main business servicing the areas. Traffic tends to congested with morning and afternoon commuters who want to avoid the congestion of Yonge Street.
Davisville Village real estate prices vary widely in the area. Condos and rental are plentiful along the Yonge, Eglinton and Merton corridors as well as Davisville and Mt. Pleasant (not as much). Rental prices can be found from $1500/mo and up. Condo prices starting in the 400’s and can be seen in the several millions. Single family homes that are semi-detached have begun to surpass the million dollar mark and detached homes in the area can easily fetch 2 to 3 million.
Davisville Village Real Estate – It is important when moving into the area of , into any newly constructed building, to check into access to the local public schools. Often there are waiting lists based on the influx of new residents and the capacity of the current systems. In Davisville Village, the local public school is set for reconstruction to create a newer and larger facility for the growing populations. Along the Eglinton corridor, the elementary school is at capacity as are some of the high schools. It is important when moving into the centre of the City to check into the Toronto District School Board website to see availability of schools in the area.
